About these terms
These Terms of Service cover the use of the Smart Cow Marketing website, downloadable resources, enquiry forms and free consultation bookings. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Our trading contact address is Palmerston House, 814 Brighton Road, Purley, CR8 2BR. Contact us at info@smartcow.co.uk or 020 3137 1826.
Enquiries and consultations
Submitting an enquiry or booking a free consultation allows us to respond to your request. It does not commit you to buying a paid service. Please provide accurate contact details and contact us if you need to change or cancel a booking. We will discuss your needs and explain any proposed next step before you decide whether to proceed.
Paid services
Paid marketing, website, CRM, AI and automation services are agreed separately in writing. The relevant proposal or service agreement will set out the scope, fees, responsibilities, delivery arrangements, ownership and any cancellation terms before work starts. These website terms do not change an existing client agreement or introduce additional charges.
Resources and calculators
Our guides, templates, calendars, articles and calculators provide general business information. Consider your circumstances and check any assumptions before relying on them. Calculator outputs are estimates based on the information entered, and examples are illustrative unless expressly identified as verified results. We do not promise a particular search ranking, number of enquiries, sales outcome or return on investment. A consultation or resource does not replace advice tailored to a specific legal, financial or other professional issue.
Using our content
Unless stated otherwise, website content and resources belong to Acvita Limited or the relevant rights holder. You may read, download and use resources for your own personal or internal business planning, retaining any copyright and attribution notices. Please obtain written permission before selling, republishing or distributing them commercially. Any resource-specific licence or permissions stated on the download take precedence.
Acceptable use
Use the website lawfully and in a way that respects other people and their rights. Do not submit abusive or unlawful material, impersonate another person, send spam, interfere with the website, introduce malicious software or attempt to gain unauthorised access. You should have permission to share any information or material included in your enquiry.
Privacy and contact preferences
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Marketing choices are separate from an enquiry or download request. Where you opt in to marketing, you can withdraw that choice using the unsubscribe instructions or by contacting us. Please use an agreed secure channel if a project requires sensitive or confidential information.
Third-party services and links
The website may link to or use third-party platforms, including booking, form and video services. Their own terms and privacy information may apply when you use them. External links are provided for convenience and do not mean that we endorse every statement on an external website.
Website information and availability
We take reasonable care with the information we publish and may update content when services or circumstances change. Contact us if something appears inaccurate or if you need confirmation before making a decision. The website may occasionally be unavailable during maintenance or because of a technical issue.
Your rights and our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing takes away any statutory rights you may have. Responsibilities for paid work are addressed in the applicable service agreement, subject to the law.
Changes and applicable law
We may update these website terms and will show the revised date on this page. Updates apply to future website use and do not retrospectively change an existing paid-service agreement. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This does not remove any mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings that apply to a consumer in their home jurisdiction.
