The challenge
After moving between agencies, LMB was experiencing deteriorating measured PPC performance. Its website needed improvement, and unreliable conversion tracking made it difficult to judge what was working.
The priority was to rebuild the foundations: a website designed around enquiries, refreshed campaigns and dependable measurement.
What we changed
We rebuilt the website in approximately one month, rebuilt Google Ads and established conversion tracking. Campaign improvements continued over roughly two further months.
A loft cost calculator gave prospective customers a useful starting point for exploring prices. LMB initially had concerns about displaying price indications, but agreed to introduce the calculator.
The partnership expanded to include SEO, monthly newsletters, YouTube uploads and channel improvements, Google Local Services Ads and ongoing marketing oversight. A CRM pipeline helped organise leads, while a voice agent supported call handling.
What changed for LMB
Conversion tracking was established, and the website gave prospective customers a clearer route to enquire. The cost calculator became a useful enquiry source through paid and organic search, according to Smart Cow founder Simon Cripps.
The work connected advertising, the website and lead handling within the same marketing approach.
The lesson for your business
Improving advertising starts with understanding the whole enquiry journey. Answering a practical question such as “What might my loft conversion cost?” can give a visitor a reason to take the next step. Reliable tracking and organised follow-up help a business assess and manage the opportunities that follow.
